I have been wearing Buffalo Soldier hats for over a year now. Whether I am backpacking through a national park, working labor outside or having a day in they are the hat that I always decide to wear. There is something about the hand stitched patch which darkens with age that seems to call my name. So when the day came to propose to my now fiancé I was of course wearing my favorite hat. So, I guess Buffalo Soldier has a special place in my memories forever.
